FlowerFairy's Reviews

There are some basic rules of magic. Never tell your audience how a trick is done, don't show the audience how you prep for a trick, and never, ever perform the classic cups and balls trick with transparent cups. Well, Penn and Teller manage to break all of these rules and more in their show at the Rio Hotel and Casino and it’s perfection.Just like every amazing duo, Penn and Teller have their strengths and weaknesses and combined, they create the perfect storm of comedy, magic and entertainment. The tall, lanky Penn serves as a narrator, providing a running comedic commentary on just about everything they do, while Teller handles much of the show's action, all without saying a single word. While there are some elements of classic magic and sleight of hand in the show, most of the tricks are incredibly creative, innovative and sometimes bordering on the macabre. Yep, knives are thrown, goldfish are materialized, and needles are swallowed… or are they? The fun of this show is that the duo lets the audience in on some of the tricks, but others are meant to completely mystify the crowd and it works. Comedic, mind-bending, and totally entertaining, Penn & Teller is a classic Vegas show that is a vacation rite of passage.

Penn & Teller may not be everyone's cup of magic. Controversial and political, but funny! Our seats from Vegas.com couldnt get any better!! FRONT ROW!!!!!! They get everyone involved, Very viewer friendly. They use the Audience in many of the Acts. My Husband was asked to participate with Teller on one act. It was awesome. This isnt Chris Angel ( and they let you know in a big way! LOL).
I also think its great that they will be out in the hall after the show for pics and autographs, be patient they will get to you . Just have your phone camera ready with someone who knows how to frame the shot! LOL as you can see from mine. I look like a floating head from some bizarre act with Penn! LOL, but he is TALL!!!

Treated my Hubby to a few laps in A Lamborghini Gallardo for our anniversary. Jason his driving coach was awesome and got him out on the track and exceeding 120mph after his 3rd lap!! LOL He had a Blast!!
You should order the video before heading out. its worth it!!
We loved watching folks doing the Corvette drift experience. It was too funny hearing the comments and screams of some of the riders! LOL
When we come back , I think its a Must! It just looked like crazy fun!!
( we drove to the location on our own, but review asks for pick up info?)

EPIC View!

Our stay at the Bellagio was 5 star all the way! Check in can be a bit crazy, so pick a line with folks that look like experienced travelers. But enjoy the beautiful flowers and art glass while you wait. Check out can be done on the TV, so no hassles. Call the bell desk and get your bags taken to your valet car area and they load and send you on your way! Easy and stress free!
The clerk asked us what floor we preferred, We said to give us the best deluxe fountain view, and we were sent zipping up the elevator to the 28th floor, the view was EPIC!!!! full fountain view and the added plus of the Eiffel Tower at the Paris across the street!! Doesn't get much better than that! Fabulous!
Casino was a bit sedate, this isnt party central for the 20 somethings, but we had good luck on slots and games, that always gets you in a great mood!
We had a special dinner at Le Cirque and it was as good as it gets if you are a foodie. Service and meal was 5 star.
for Coffee and a treat stop at Jean Phillipes Patisserie. Not just chocolate, but great Panini and crepes and breakfast danish. WE even had a custom anniversary cake made for presentation at Le Cirque for our anniversary. WOW. and Yummy!!
Expect to tip well!! The service we had was Rock Star status.
Cant wait to return again!!
