Don't blink, you might miss something. Actually, you might miss a lot. That's what audiences at V - The Ultimate Variety show will want to remember. This fast-paced, high-energy show features an exciting lineup of specialty acts from around the world. During the 75-minute revue you'll see about seven different acts take the stage.New performers are constantly being added to the show's roster, so you never know exactly who you're going to see that night. Some of the recurring acts include: master juggler Wally Eastwood; the Skating Aratas; The Crazy Gauchos from Argentina Eduardo Lomé and Hugo Latorre; Ukrainian rhythmic gymnast Tamara Yeroffyeva; Melinda - First Lady of Magic; and comedian Russ Merlin. The show's variety format stems from the days when shows used to feature a specialty act to supplement the main production. In some instances, those specialty acts became the stars of the show. At V - The Ultimate Variety Show, all of those stars get a chance to shine in one amazing revue. The varied lineup makes this show a great option if you're traveling with a group and looking for a show that has a little something for everyone.Eastwood is both the host and a performer in the show. His infectious energy sets the pace for the whirlwind of talent about to take the stage. Eastwood has been described as having "the fastest hands on Earth," and it's easy to see why. He performs several different routines throughout the show, including juggling ping pong balls with his mouth and playing Beethoven's "Für Elise" by bouncing rubber balls on an electronic keyboard. Not only does he amaze, but Eastwood makes people laugh. His happy-go-lucky attitude paired with his self-deprecating humor is a winning combination. The Skating Aratas kick things into high gear with their daring acrobatic skating act. Performed by husband and wife Victor and Jenny Arata, their act is done on a small platform on an area of the stage that extends into the crowd. Victor propels the duo in a high-speed spin while lifting and spinning Jenny in the air in a series of awe-inspiring poses. The limited performance space, paired with their risky routine is nothing short of amazing.Dressed in traditional garb, The Crazy Gauchos perform an exhilarating drum routine. They stomp their feet in perfect time to the upbeat rhythm resounding from their drums. They enliven the audience with their wild sense of humor. The mood changes from uproarious laughter to awe as Yeroffyeva, a former Olympic gymnast, enters. Tall and lean, her graceful movements enchant the audience as she demonstrates spinning a hula hoop on her legs or arms while contorting into various different postures. Her flexibility is mind-boggling.After a more than 10-year hiatus from the stage, Melinda - The First Lady of Magic is back in Vegas amazing audiences. A mother of two, Melinda makes it hard to believe she's ever stopped performing. She was the only female magician to have her own headlining magic show on the Strip in the ’90s. As part of the cast at V, Melinda does three main illusions with the help of her female assistants/dancers.Merlin performs a comedy act with four volunteers from the audience. Each volunteer is given an outrageous mask to wear and assigned a different gesture to make when Merlin taps them on the shoulder. It's not long before the entire audience is laughing at the hilarious scene he creates on stage. If you are looking for a night of big laughs paired with an assortment of awe-inspiring entertainment, V -The Ultimate Variety Show has it all.

This show is for the whole family. It has comedy, magic, etc...This was one of the best shows I have seen in a long time. You will not be disappoiinted. Dont waste your money on the general admission seats. Spend the extra cash for the assigned seats near the stage! It is well worth it. Oh...and they do like to pick people from the audience to come up on stage. So make sure you have a good sense of humor! You will still have fun!

Part rock concert and part interactive experience, this show is a riotous blend of music and comedy. Before any of the performers hit the stage, the showroom is filled with loud rock 'n' roll music and the sound of audience members banging on the instruments given to them before entering the theater. The curtain rises and the four members of Recycled Percussion make their grand entrance, lowered over the stage while sitting on a vertical platform with their backs parallel to the floor and playing the drums. Except they aren't drums, instead Recycled Percussion has made a name for themselves by creating music out of pieces of recycled trash, tin, buckets, power tools and other items. The audience also gets to experience how the group's raucous junk rock is created.Upon entering the showroom everyone is given a set of drumsticks and other item that they'll use during the show. A video introduction explains everything once the show starts. Each item has a colored dot on it that represents your team leader and when you are supposed to bang your instrument. As the band performs, rock videos of songs are played on a huge screen hanging over the stage. When you see your colored dot, you hit your instrument. Anyone familiar with Rock Band or Guitar Hero will have no problem playing along, but even if you don't know those games the basic drum beats are easy to follow.Recycled Percussion consists of drummers Justin Spencer and Ryan Vezina, guitarist Matt Bowman and DJ Jason Davies. The group formed in 1994 in New Hampshire for their high school talent show. The small-town band built a steady following with their fast-paced drumming, gravity-defying athleticism and humorous stage personalities. They don't just sit there and drum. These musicians are all showmen who know how to work a crowd. The group was introduced to households across the country as contestants on the fourth season of the NBC hit show "America's Got Talent." Recycled Percussion placed 3rd and was the first non-singing act in the show's history to place in the top three. After the show the group went on to be featured on the cover of "USA Today" and has performed as special guests on various television shows including the "Today Show," "Carson Daily," "Talk Soup" and before a live international audience of more than 80,000 people at "China's Got Talent." After making their music heard around the world it's no surprise that the group landed a gig in Vegas. After performing for two years at various locations on the Las Vegas Strip, the group has become the resident show at The Quad Hotel & Casino."The central location on The Strip is perfect for our all-ages show," said band leader Justin Spencer. "We've added in a lot of new creative elements to expand our appeal and allow us to connect with our audiences on a deeper and even more interactive level. We're really excited."Enhanced with innovative lighting and a ground-shaking sound system, Recycled Percussion perform on an elevated platform and on a number of different props like ladders and even an old van. One of the acts does not use any drums. Instead performers create music to an electrified version of the Beatles song "Eleanor Rigby" by putting a metal grinder to one of four large, round metal bins hung from a contraption lowered over the stage. Sparks fly in the air as the performers grind away in rhythm to the well-known song.Periodically, pantomimed skits flesh out the show with humor and give the audience's ears a break from the banging. Audience participation reaches its peak when select guests join the show to act like trained monkeys and compete in a dance-off. Perhaps the most fun diversion is "Totally Random Cookie Time," complete with an original song and actual cookies.Toward the end of the show the group leads everyone through a musical montage of songs where the audience is invited to play along when they see their colored dot on the screen. The theater explodes in a harmonious cacophony of banging from people in the audience and riveting beats from Recycled Percussion as they rock out on stage. The finale brings Recycled Percussion's trademark ladder act to the stage. The musicians drum of the rungs as they climb giant ladders and scrape their sticks as they slide back down, creating a sound like a giant washboard.Start to finish, Recycled Percussion is a raucous good time for the all-ages audience..
