These are NOT basement guitarists and karaoke wannabees who stumbled out of the garage and onto the stage to play half-decent covers. The cast of Raiding the Rock Vault plays the standards like only real rockers can, because they are real rockers. You know how your college roommate could barely squeak out the "oooooh-oh!" in the first half of "Livin' on a Prayer" and then his voice cracked? There’s absolutely no risk of that at Raiding the Rock Vault. Andrew Freeman (Lynch Mob, The Offspring) and Paul Shortino (Quiet Riot) belt it out like the professionals they are — with power and guts. With Doug Aldrich (Whitesnake), Robin McAuley (MSG, Survivor) sing, shout and harmonize as they lead the audience through three decades of hits: Hendrix, Zepplin, Queen, Deep Purple, and everything in between. And two female vocalists, Cian Coey (Meatloaf) and Lily Arce, round out the performance. They know exactly what they’re doing: playing the greatest music from the greatest eras in American history, and reminding the fans who grew up to those sounds, that real music never dies. Rock out to Raiding the Rock Vault in Vegas.

FANTASTIC
PostedMarch 29, 2014
Came across this show just by chance in a Vegas.com email flyer read the reviews and we decided to go. Very much a great decision!! This is one of the best shows I have ever seen and will go again. It is very much advised that anyone that loves older true rock and roll go see this show you won't be dissappointed at all. We were amazed at the variety of the performers in the show. We purchased the purple Ibenez bass that was signed by all the members and can't wait to display at home.

It’s definitely getting hot in here and the performers are definitely taking off all their clothes. Exploring the very sexy and very un-family-friendly side of Cirque du Soleil, Zumanity whips - er - whisks audience members up for a deliciously wild ride to discover their sensual side. Oh la, la! Have we roused your, um, attention? If we haven’t, the two voluptuous Botero Sisters passing out plump strawberries at the beginning of the show will.Unlike other Cirque du Soleil productions, Zumanity has no storyline. Instead, this highly eroticized, cabaret-style spectacle offers a bunch of unique characters whose performances are each themed by different elements of sexuality. Oh, and there is no traditional Cirque gibberish either unless you count some moans and groans as such. You’ll learn very practical life lessons, like how to stash booze in your boobs and getting comfortable with hilariously taboo sex topics. Between the leather, chains, silks and well, some things we just can’t share, you can bet a little laughter is welcomed. With nearly nude aerial artists, contortionists, super limber dancers and the sassiest drag queen host of them all, forget being conservative. Let your hair down, loosen one extra button, and get your naughty on for some sexy entertainment that just may be a precursor for the remainder of your evening.

We had such an awesome time and laughed so hard, it was great!!
I had been saying I wanted to see this show for a few years now and am so glad we went. The cast was absolutely a hoot and very interactive with the audience. Can't wait to take other friends to this.

Discounts and kids

Are there any discounts for shows that you know of? I am bringing my kids, ages 12 and 14, which shows would be best for them?
Being as I don't have children at home I am not sure of any discounts. There were many children at the Raiding the Rock Vault and they even brought one of them up on stage. If you have raised your children as I did they will enjoy this. The Cirque show Mystere is also another fantastic show with lots of acrobatics and amazing stunts. I can only describe it as a bizarre circus to live music.
