 Vegas Club
Vegas Club
At the Vegas Club, which is located on Fremont Street in downtown Las Vegas, excitement awaits with hot casino action and a delicious restaurant. From outside the property at night, visitors will see a sexy girl dancing atop a box in a red-lit window. Step inside and discover a gaming pit staffed by similarly stunning and scantily clad ladies. Mosey over to the tiki-style bamboo bar for a drink, or try your luck at more than 700 popular slot and video poker machines. There are also a variety of table games to tempt you, including blackjack, craps, roulette and pai gow poker.   As you make your way through the casino, you'll come across a couple of eating options to satisfy your hunger cravings. Enjoy a formal breakfast, lunch or dinner at Tinoco's Kitchen. Featured items include ahi tuna, calamari, steak, shrimp and Italian delights like chicken Parmigiana. Head over to Tinoco's Express, a snack bar, for quicker alternatives -- like burgers and nachos. The Vegas Club has more than 400 rooms that are affordably priced and comfortably appointed. There's a full-service beauty salon in the lobby. A sundries/ beef jerky shop rounds out the hotel's amenities.Located on Fremont Street Experience, visitors will always be in the heart of the action here. Plus, there are numerous restaurants, bars and entertainment options at its sister property, the Plaza, just across the street. No matter where you're visiting from, the Vegas Club has everything you'll need to make your Las Vegas visit an enjoyable time -- and one that won't strain your wallet.-- By Renée LiButti

The Fremont Hotel & Casino is located in the most exciting part of Las Vegas, right in the heart of downtown amid the always lively Fremont Street Experience. This 14-story hotel, with 447 recently remodeled rooms and suites, provides a wonderful escape that won't be expensive. Rooms come standard with one king or two queen beds, a hair dryer, a refrigerator, wireless internet access (for a fee) and a flat-screen TV with cable channels. Rollaway beds and cribs are available upon request. Stunning views of downtown and the Strip's skyline present themselves from the windows. Although there is no pool, guests of the Fremont are welcome to take a dip in the California's sparkling rooftop pool. With a 32,000-square-foot casino, the Fremont boasts all the most popular table games and the latest slot machines. You can also enjoy a live keno lounge and a 42-seat race and sports book.Guests will discover a variety of culinary treasures at the Fremont. If your tastes run from filet mignon to egg rolls, have a meal at the Second Street Grill, which is known for its Pacific Rim-influenced cuisine. Tony Roma's is sure to tempt your palate with flavorful char-grilled ribs, chicken and burgers. Or you can gamble morning, noon and night and eat whenever hunger pangs hit, because there's always something cooking at the fabulous Paradise Buffet & Café. Short on time? Go for a hot dog, salad or Chinese dish at Lanai Express – or just grab a coffee and sweat treat at Dunkin' Donuts. This is all under one roof in the Fremont! For those interested in hosting a meeting or special event, the Fremont has 7,330 square feet of flexible meeting space that can accommodate up to 350 people.Just steps from Fremont Street, the Las Vegas Premium Outlets – North, The Smith Center and more, there is no better place to stay in downtown Las Vegas than the Fremont. Plus, complimentary shuttle service is available to farther-flung places, like Sam's Town Hotel & Gambling Hall on the Boulder Strip -- so you'll have access to the best of all worlds!-- By Renée LiButti

The Four Queens Hotel & Casino in downtown is a historic property imbued with class and old Vegas glamour.Situated at the intersection of Casino Center Boulevard and Fremont Street, the hotel is part of the revitalization occurring in this iconic area of the city. It's connected to Fremont Street Experience, and its main entrance is positioned underneath the stunning multimillion-light Viva Vision canopy. Plus, there's nearby access to The Deuce and the Strip & Downtown Express bus systems as well as to an assortment of hotels, shops, restaurants and attractions.Sharing the excitement of the rapidly transforming gaming and hospitality industries, the Four Queens blends technology and a pinch of cosmopolitan chic with vintage cool. Opened in 1966, the property is, indeed, steeped in culture. The colorful neon signage and flashing lightbulbs give the exterior charm, while interior elements -- such as the marble floor and mirrored ceiling in the lobby -- create a feeling of elegance and refinement.  There are 690 rooms and suites at the Four Queens, all with timeless style and spacious floor plans. They are perfect for leisure or business travelers. There is also a lovely pool.Hipsters head for the hotel's intimate Canyon Club showroom to see a variety of performers. It's got rustic oak décor, and the stage is surrounded by big sofas, coffee tables and simple folding chairs. Bands usually play late on weekend evenings. The early evenings are also magical, thanks to the comic trickery of Mike Hammer. For a memorable meal, step into Hugo's Cellar, a gourmet restaurant that opened with the resort. It's still operating and offers patrons the chance to go back in time and enjoy impeccable service paired with a sumptuous menu. Each woman is given a long-stemmed red rose, and all guests will be enchanted by the brick-lined walls and tableside salad preparation.Magnolia's Veranda, a 24-hour coffee shop, is also a long-running favorite with visitors and in-the-know locals, thanks to its tempting $9.95 prime rib special.  The most recent eatery to appear on the premises is the Chicago Brewing Company. Along with handcrafted microbrews, you can bite into a fresh-baked pizza or kick back for a smoke in the cigar lounge. Quick and affordable snacks can be found at Subway, Noble Roman's Pizza and Dreyer's Ice Cream as well.  The casino floor at the Four Queens is packed with a mix of table games. Slot and video poker machines run the gamut and are regularly updated to reflect the latest trends. For example, a bank of Paradise Fishing machines was recently installed. There are several bars as well, including a giant center bar just inside the main doors. A new outdoor bar is set up each night for passers-by at the east entrance, and a Chicago Brewing Company truck pours beers for thirsty visitors near the west entrance.  Combining fun and comfort with a great location in the heart of downtown, the Four Queens is where to stay if you want to experience the best of Vegas' past and present.-- By Renée LiButti
