Prominently positioned just west of Las Vegas Boulevard, this multi-colored beacon of a hotel is a close neighbor to all of the action on the Strip making it easy for guests to venture around Sin City, but from the wide variety of shows, bars and restaurants located within the hotel, you could easily find yourself staying on the property.Seamlessly integrating its Brazilian inspiration into every element of the hotel, the lively aesthetic of the brightly colored carpeting, signage and décor of the Rio will make it seem as if you've arrived in the middle Carnival season. And adding to the energetic environment is when the crowds amass for the prestigious World Series of Poker held every summer. If you're not here during poker's premiere event you can still enjoy gambling as the Rio has a sprawling casino floor with 1,200 slot machines and 80 different table games.Drawing in crowds year-round are the hotel's buffets -- The Carnival World Buffet and the Village Seafood Buffet. Off the two, the Village Seafood Buffet earns the greatest amount of praise. Just imagine loading your plate with unlimited lobster, crab legs, shrimp, sushi and other swimming selections, eating it all… and then doing it again. Drooling? That can become a reality. Both of these buffets are usually packed with patrons, so be prepared to wait, especially during any holiday weekend. If you are not hungry enough to attempt fitting the contents of the ocean into your belly but hungry enough to think about it, then we are sure that you will find a non-buffet restaurant to suit your needs with the selection that the Rio has to offer. Among the restaurants are Martorano's by the tough, tattooed Philadelphia chef Steve Martorano is a sure bet where rich, Italian-American favorites are served in excess; the All-American Bar & Grille where they are known for their dry-aged Angus beef; Pho Da Nang with exceptionally authentic Vietnamese cuisine and there is the one-of-a-kind dim sum menu at KJ Dim Sum & Seafood Chinese Restaurant. For quicker bites, Hash House A Go Go has creatively prepared, oversized portions -- which include everything from breakfast and brunch to dinner items or the Sports Deli, which situated near the six giant screens in the busy race and sports book.If you are looking to transform your dining experience into your nightlife experience, we know you'll love the succulent steak and one of the most striking views of Las Vegas at VooDoo Steak and Rooftop Nightclub, situated on the 50th and 51st floors of the resort's Masquerade Tower. And while you're up there, go ahead and check out the thrilling VooDoo Zip Line – a zip line ride, where guests soar more than 800 feet from the VooDoo Rooftop Nightclub in the hotel's Masquerade Tower to the Ipanema Tower. The 70-second journey boasts stunning 360-degree views of the Las Vegas Strip and adds an element of daring excitement to any occasion.Whether or not you opt for a ride between the towers, you can either stay and party at the rooftop club until the Strip's neon tubes flicker off with the rise of the morning sun, or you could slip off and catch one of the hotel's in house shows. Penn & Teller, the quirky magic duo, have their own theater at the Rio, as do the hunky and ever-famed Chippendales dancers. The Crown Theater hosts an array of acts including comedian Eddie Griffin and there is the seductive topless revue "X Rocks," which showcases sexy dancers and steamy choreography to the soundtrack of heart-pounding rock songs. And when you get thirsty from all that you've done or from thinking about all that you're about to do, swing by the sexy Flirt Lounge in the lobby of the Chippendales Theatre or the high-tech I-Bar, where you can order drinks from a touch-screen computer built into your tabletop.Since this is Vegas, we know that there is a good chance that you will not be bright-eyed and bushy-tailed the morning (or afternoon) after a night out on the town. The best detox is to re-tox (well at least we think so). So grab a cold one and soak up the sun with an afternoon at the hotel's indulgent pool complex. With golden sand and cascading waterfalls, this complex inspired by the Brazilian paradise is a necessity. If sun and fun is not how you like to recover, opt instead for a day of pampering at the Rio Spa & Salon. Shops are found throughout the property including The Wine Cellar & Tasting Room, Fashion 101 and the Harley-Davidson store, shoppers can get their fix of retail therapy on the property, however, the resort provides shuttle service to and from Harrah's for those who want to venture out onto the Strip as well.

Lived in Vegas 82 to 96 . All these years later the suites having been well cared for are very nice, and the space to move around with any amenities you so desire. All have a refrigerator and if you don't snack its meaningless, but if you do, these can pay for your room by the money saved bringing in your own stuffr to stock up, or go pay 10 for 2 bucks in cookies, 3+ for a 20 oz pepsi, etc
Lower noise level than Strip or Downtown, and definitely has less of the riff-raff. Security keeps a safe environment.
Buffet has gone down a notch, and I would have rather kept the $20.00 extra for the seafood addition. That was actually sad in comparison to the rest of the buffet. $30+ per person is good for all you get, but 50+ never again. Awesome breakfast and lunch menu at the ___ ___restaurant? Only one for breakfast I believe. Don't let the menu prices run you off because the quality and quantity is top shelf. Party of 8, 8 different varieties selected and all 8 were just awesome.
Service and response times all very good, timely, and professional. Parking made easy if you go up to the upper levels of 3-level garage.

The ancient Romans knew how to party. They were so good at it they even had a god of overindulgence – Bacchus. In Las Vegas, Caesars Palace has been an embodiment of that Roman extravagance and luxury since it opened in 1966.That doesn't mean anything about this place is ancient though. Caesars Palace has changed and reinvented itself over the years and has always kept its opulent spirit.Caesars Palace is such a Las Vegas icon  it has been featured in countless movies like "Rain Man," "Dreamgirls," "Rocky III," "The Guilt Trip," and maybe most famously, "The Hangover," where its main characters stayed and had that raging party. When in Las Vegas, we suggest you do as the Romans (and "The Hangover" guys) do and celebrate like royalty at Caesars Palace.Party seekers don't have to go far to find hot nightlife at the resort. Start out in the stylish Lobby Bar where famed mixologist Tony Abou-Ganim created eight premium and potent cocktails exclusively for the venue. Guests can literally rock the boat at Cleopatra's Barge atop a floating dance floor. Champagne lovers can get their fix at Fizz Las Vegas, an elegant lounge and bar designed in coordination with Elton John's partner David Furnish. And clubbers can party like nowhere else in Omnia Nightclub. Boasting an ornate four-story domed roof, this place has an ultra lounge, a high-energy main room, a mezzanine with private booths and a rooftop garden with amazing views of the Strip. We're quite sure Roman royalty liked to be entertained and Caesars Palace is home to some major headliners -- Celine Dion, Elton John, Rod Stewart, Mariah Carey and Reba with Brook & Dunn -- at the 4,100-seat Colosseum. Those who appreciate hidden gems won't want to miss the creative and irreverent show "Absinthe," which is all the rage amongst the hip crowd in Vegas. The adults-only show features a crazy cast of circus-style performers led by the lewdest ringmaster imaginable.Any good Roman party includes a feast and Caesars Palace is home to some of the finest chefs and restaurants in the city. The Forum Shops at Caesars was (and still is) home to the first celebrity chef in Las Vegas, Wolfgang Puck, with Spago. Plenty of other acclaimed chefs followed and opened restaurants at Caesars including Bobby Flay's Mesa Grill, famed New York Italian eatery Rao's, Gordon Ramsay Pub & Grill and Michelin two-star restaurant Guy Savoy. One of the dining must-dos at Caesars is the appropriately named Bacchanal Buffet, a mind-blowing array of more than 500 delectable dishes. If shopping is your indulgence of choice, The Forum Shops at Caesars doesn't disappoint. The shops boast elegant Roman architecture, animatronic statues, a faux cloudy sky that changes from day to night, top restaurants and shops from the most prestigious designers in the world. The casino at Caesars Palace is legendary whether you're a high roller or just want to play the slots. The race & sports book offers huge screens broadcasting all of the sporting action. And in a private enclave off the casino floor is Las Vegas' largest poker room, measuring 14,000 square feet. Players at Caesars are treated like royalty, with tableside food service and massages. The Romans might have been known for their wild parties but we bet they knew how to relax too. Caesars Palace has plenty of options for those looking for a little recovery. The beautiful Garden of the Gods pool complex has eight pools surrounded by stunning Italian architecture. We also recommend a visit to the luxurious Qua Baths & Spa where you can be pampered like a god or goddess. From the moment guests pass the majestic fountain at the front of Caesars Palace, it is clear that all roads lead to Rome. The hotel has paved a solid legacy as a world-class destination for dining, gambling, shopping, service, entertainment and nightlife.

Which tower should I stay at for Bellagio fountain view?

Honestly, the view from across the street is the best seat in the house. No crowds to look over, rooms offer limited viewing.
