If you’ve stashed tissues, binoculars and a light sweatshirt to cover song-induced goose bumps in your evening bag, we’d be willing to bet you’re on your way to Caesars Palace to see the one and only, Celine Dion. You’re about to take a musical journey that will seriously brings out all the feels in a decades-spanning set list. We’ve seen this seriously-amazing concert more times than we’d like to admit, and let’s just say this mega-talented songstress is just about as superstar as it gets.Belting new and classic hits like "Because You Loved Me," "Beauty and the Beast" and "Incredible," she even tantalizes us with covers from other demigods like Prince and Queen. The five-time Grammy Award-winner pours every fiber of herself into making this show utterly dazzling. And don’t even get us started on Dion’s dresses. Roll out the red carpet, people because we are in the midst of music royalty. Speaking of royalty, even Elvis Presley and Frank Sinatra show up for this songbird in an illusion that is David Copperfield-worthy. We don’t want to give it away, so we’ll just say you’ll have to see it to believe it.The woman, the songs, The Colosseum – this enchanting evening of entertainment needs to be checked off of your bucket list pronto. Oh, and we dare you not to cry when she sings “My Heart Will Go On.” Good luck, you’re gonna need it.

 Zarkana by Cirque du Soleil
Zarkana by Cirque du Soleil
Zarkana by Cirque du Soleil brings another incredible production to the Las Vegas Strip at Aria Resort & Casino. Featuring a 70-member cast of world class acrobats, aerialists, jugglers, and high wire and trapeze artists, Zarkana amazes audiences as the story unfolds (and flips, and jumps, and spins, and.. OK, you get it) before your eyes.Set in a zany alternate universe where bizarre meets arcana (Boom! The phonic parents of Zarkana), a wildly eclectic collection of forgotten circus characters and their jaw-dropping talents explore otherworldly scenarios as their washed up extravaganza comes back to life.Tucked into the surprisingly intimate 1,800-seat Aria Theater, all audience members will feel immersed in the experience… especially when the characters burst through the theater’s imaginary fourth wall to soar above the seats. With comic interjections by the show’s two clowns and an on-stage audience of ghostly members of circuses' past who mingle with the audience throughout the production, you might just feel as if you’re a part of the show yourself…sans the über bendy and flippy parts, which we will leave to the pros (because groin injuries are not ideal).Among the show’s daring acts, audience members will hold their breath while observing the high wire act complete with a swinging pendulum ball of raging fire (you know, since performing tricks on a cable a couple dozen feet in the air isn’t dangerous enough), a flying trapeze routine, in addition to an impressive ladder balancing act. However, you will have plenty of time to dry your sweaty palms and settle your anxiety when taking in beautiful (and less life-threatening) acts of endurance and strength when taking in the aerial straps, hand balancing, sand painting, flag manipulation and juggling acts among others as well. And since every Cirque du Soleil show is performed with the musical aid of a live band, audiences will enjoy an all-encompassing musical experience with a lead singer who has seemingly range-less vocals that hit even the most daunting of notes. In addition to the production’s 12-song soundtrack, there are intricate set changes that transform the stage to complement every act. Multiple layers of LED screens create stunning visuals that transform from an old circus, to outer space, to a snake-infested jungle, to a spider’s web and others scenes that add to the show’s unique visual experience. But back to the audience involvement, we will not tell you exactly what happens, but we will let you know that those clowns we previously mentioned take a little stroll in the audience during the show and do not return to the stage alone. If you’re a female sitting in the first few rows, you just may be selected to join the two comical creatures on stage to help demonstrate their electric chair. Let's just say that sparks definitely fly.In true Cirque du Soleil fashion, “Zarkana” serves audience members a visual treat with seemingly impossible physical feats that blur the line between reality and a wild realm of imagination. So get your glasses, eye drops, tape… whatever will help you keep your eyes open and not blink because this is one production that you will want to catch every second of.

In a world full of uncertainties, in Sin City one thing is certain; all you need is love – Cirque du Soleil’s “The Beatles LOVE,” that is. Packed with action, gravity-defying stunts, and stellar visuals that take us back to the lucid, laced, lava-lamp days of years gone by, LOVE is the grooviest Cirque production of them all.Set to the re-mastered soundtrack of rock ‘n’ roll’s most beloved troupe of storytelling singers, The Beatles (obviously), this show takes you on a musical journey through the wartime era of WWII. And that’s just the music. With acrobatic feats, aerial stunts, and explosive choreography to boot, you won’t have to dust off that old black book to track down your psychedelics dealer; we assure you that your senses will be blown regardless.Performed in a round theater, and with speakers just about everywhere in the venue including in every headrest, this show brings a whole new meaning to surround sound for an unbelievable audio experience. And let’s just take a moment to mention the set. There are buildings, courtyards, a Volkswagen Beatle and more, the sets and props of LOVE are something to fall for on their own.Whether you’re a Beatles fanatic or were born yesterday (FYI babies are not ideal audience members), if you’re human, this is your chance to bust out those bell-bottoms and have a totally righteous night out on the town.

Mega Beatles

If you're a Beatles or a classic rock n roll fan, this show is for you. Great tribute to the group. I wasn't sure what to expect, The format was fun, visually stimulating. It is a little different than the other Cirque shows, but should be considered for the entertainment.

Terry Fator may just be the greatest illusionist on the Las Vegas Strip, but you'll never see him perform any magic tricks. He amazes audiences by singing like famous entertainers from Elvis to Cher without moving his lips, and that's not all. Along with being a singer and a celebrity impressionist, Fator is a puppeteer. His face may not move much during his show, but his hands are always in action, bringing to life his cast of lovable puppet co-stars.The puppets each have their own comical personalities and music style, which makes Fator's show feel like both a concert and a stand-up comedy routine. There's Winston, the impersonating turtle; Walter T. Airdale; Maynard Thompkins, the World's Greatest Elvis Impersonator; Emma Taylor, the little girl with the big voice; Duggie Scott Walker, the annoying neighbor; Julius, the soul singer; Monty Carlo, the lounge singer; Hyphen, the delusional British rocker; Vikki, the cougar; Barry Fabulous, a flamboyant hip-hop diva; and Wrex, the safety expert. When the puppets aren't singing, they're sharing their comedic wit with Fator and the audience. All the while, if you really pay attention, you get the chance to hear something remarkable. Fator's vocal range extends from Etta James' "At Last," to Garth Brooks' "Friends In Low Places." The appreciation for his talent runs even deeper when he performs both parts of two duets. He does Sonny and Cher's "I Got You Babe," and "What A Wonderful World," as Kermit the Frog (with Winston) and Louis Armstrong.Combine that range of musical samplings and add in that Fator never opens his mouth more than half an inch during the songs unless he's taking a breath or, on the rare occasion, singing a song as himself. To call Terry Fator a master of puppets would be an under appreciation for his show and talents. But to call him the best singer on the Strip, who doesn't open his mouth more than half an inch, while using puppets and providing endless comedy might be more accurate. Unfortunately, that's really hard to fit on a billboard.A multitalented performer, Fator got his big break when he won NBC's "America's Got Talent" in 2007. Fator won $1 million and a gig to perform on the Strip. Since 2008 hundreds of thousands of tourists have seen Fator's show. Aside from Vegas, Fator has been featured on "The Today Show," "The Oprah Winfrey Show," "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" and "The Late Show with David Letterman."-- Staff Report

for the upscale restaurants do you need a suit and tie or just slacks and shirt and for women?

It is not necessary. However, you will not feel out of place. Dress code covers the spectrum. Remember it's more of a resort community.
