Great Show

Love the Beatles and the show was fantastic. Actors flying over your head, not a bad seat in the house.
Best show I have seen in Las Vegas. It will knock your socks off..

RockTellz & CockTails presents Meat Loaf
RockTellz & CockTails presents Meat Loaf
One of rock 'n' roll's most gifted artists, Meat Loaf is once again offering fans of his music and acting a rare, stripped down deconstruction of his 47-year music, stage and film career.Best known for his powerful rock ballads "I Would Do Anything For Love (But I Won’t Do That)" and "Two Out of Three Ain't Bad," Meat Loaf captivates his audience with his engaging stage presence.    "I had so much fun doing the show in the fall, I couldn't wait to extend my time in Vegas when they asked me to," Meat said of SPI Entertainment, producer of the RockTellz & CockTails concert series. "For me, the show is more than just another concert because the RockTellz & CockTails format allows me to add something different. I'm able to bring together music, acting and theater and do things you can't normally do when you're on the road.  I get to have a lot of fun and it definitely shows."With a live band, dancers and back-up singers, Meat and his iconic red scarf gives the audience a special treat when he takes their questions on his career. Using a tablet, he illustrates his life story with personal photos. A video montage highlights his film career.Performances include "I Would Do Anything for Love (But I Won't Do That), "Paradise by the Dashboard Light," "Dead Ringer for Love," "Bat Out of Hell" and "Hot Patootie Bless My Soul," which Meat performs in sync with a video of his character "Eddie" in the cult classic, "The Rocky Horror Picture Show."Meat Loaf first rose to fame in 1977 with the release of "Bat Out Of Hell," the first in an operatic album trilogy. His earliest memorable film role was in "The Rocky Horror Picture Show." Since then, he has had roles in dozens of films and TV shows, including "Snitch," "Fight Club," "Monk," "Wayne's World" and "Tales from the Crypt."RockTellz & CockTails brings back the intimate, artist-centric shows that helped put the Las Vegas Strip on the map.

Meatloaf Made Me Cry....
PostedFebruary 16, 2014
Meatloaf What a great show.... He is so powerful and funny and entertaining. Myself at age 65 a year younger then Meatloaf was taken by his energy and power on stage. He puts everything into his singing, so much so where I would think that they may call peramedics before the show is over.. He sang all his hits, and with great video behind him. He sang two songs from Rocky Horror Picture Show , with a large group of girls dancing and doing the TimeWarp on stage... It blew me away bringing me back to my Old Rocky Horror picture Midnight Movie Show viewings.. That I realized tears were rolling down my face... For a guy this does not really happen very often.. Thank You Meat Loaf for a great show.

More than 50 years ago the Flamingo Las Vegas sat all alone in the desert on the road leading to Las Vegas. Today it's in the heart of all the action on the Las Vegas Strip. That's what we call planning ahead. And besides bragging rights, being the longest-running property in the heart of the Strip has other perks too. For example, awesome attractions have been built around the hotel. As a result of a recent remodeling project, the north entrance of the hotel is now connected to The LINQ Promenade. This retail, dining and entertainment district boasts the 550-foot observation wheel called the High Roller. And not only does the hotel and its surroundings attract an exciting crowd around the clock, when compared to many of the other hotels in the area, The Flamingo's rooms offer comfort and luxury at more affordable prices. The laid-back Flamingo invites all visitors and guests to relax island-style...the desert is kind of like an island, right? Sans the ocean and the coconuts, it's easy to feel like you're in a tropical oasis inside of the Miami-esque resort and here's a bonus...it's always five o'clock in the Maragritaville Casino for all of you who think that 10 a.m. is too early to start drinking. Inspired by singer Jimmy Buffett's island-escapism lyrics, the 15,000-square-foot casino located in the front end of the Flamingo features palm trees, tropical colors, bikini-clad cocktail waitresses, and the shack-style Margaritaville 5 O'Clock Somewhere Bar.Among the themed décor, a friendly poker room is tucked next to the lobby in addition to a race & sports book that makes sure all of the games are the center of attention so you don't miss a beat. Unless of course you become distracted by the sexy party pit on the gaming floor where a sexy pole dancer in a cage hovers above scantily-clad female dealers manning pink felt-covered blackjack tables located next to the open-air entrance near The Cromwell.Conveniently located just steps away from other popular hotels, The Flamingo's location acts like a central hub to partying. But for those resorts that are a bit too far to walk to, there's a Las Vegas Monorail station on the premises, so you'll have access to several other resorts along the Strip. If you're anything like us, you're either wishing you were gambling and drinking breezy booze beverages or eating...and both of those things can be done at the casino's multi-level Margaritaville restaurant, which boasts two patios overlooking the Strip, a huge retail store, and even a dance floor. Raucous sights and sounds are all around this eatery and not only is the place buzzing with Buffett's greatest island tunes, but there are waitresses who slide down from the top of the three-story Volcano Bar and land in a 300-gallon blender of margarita mix. No, you didn't skip a paragraph; you're still reading about Margaritaville, it's a land of its own! However, if you're not quite ready to "...waste away again in Margaritaville" or if you've simply given up looking for that damn salt shaker, there are plenty of other dining options for a relaxing, casual meal at the expansive food court. Or there is always Center Cut Steakhouse and Carlos'n Charlie's restaurant and bar where they are known for overflowing spirits, which often lead to impromptu dancing on the tables and chairs in the restaurant's expansive indoor dining room and an outdoor patio.Once you've eaten enough and properly prepared yourself for the night ahead, the party vibe can be found in the Flamingo Showroom. The musical, brother and sister duo Donny and Marie Osmond host an extravaganza presenting their greatest hits. (Note: Fans can view costumes from their TV stints on "Dancing with the Stars" and Donny's mirrored disco ball trophy in the exhibit cases near the lobby). When Donny and Marie aren't in town, Olivia Newton-John headlines the showroom. You can also catch the celebrity impersonators of "Legends in Concert" in the afternoons so that in the late evening hours, you can stop by the sexy X Showroom, where men will get all hot and bothered by the beautiful dancers in "X Burlesque" while women can get hot and bothered too and/or they can learn the secrets to the cast's sexy moves at XBU - X Burlesque University. Jeff Civillico is featured in a wacky comedy/juggling show in the afternoon. Another major attraction at the Flamingo is the Wildlife Habitat. The hotel's grounds are home to pink Chilean flamingos, wood ducks, koi, turtles and other fascinating creatures. While your wandering through the grounds, keep an eye out for a plaque dedicated to Benjamin "Bugsy" Siegel, the mobster who helped launch the Flamingo in 1946. Also amid the 15 acres of lush greenery lie the resort's spectacular pools. The main pools are interconnected and feature lagoon areas, a seasonal waterslide, a meandering river and cascading waterfalls. For a trendy dayclub experience, visitors will want to check out the Go Pool (open during summer only), where the guest DJ gets the party started and keeps it going all day long for guests reveling in chaise lounges, daybeds and VIP cabanas.  Also outside are the enchanting garden and gazebo wedding chapels where you and your honey can tie the knot and start your happily ever after at the hotel's luxurious spa. With a full menu of delicious body treatments, The Spa offers a myriad of services for your pampering pleasure.

Great Location

I have been to a lot of hotels in Vegas, but for the price and location and being in the middle of the busy strip..I think The Flamingo Hotel is the best deal, location and action spot on the strip.

Don't expect to see a lot of pirates at Treasure Island. Arrr...we know...the name of the hotel suggests exactly the opposite. But somehow, as the years have gone by, Treasure Island (often referred to as just "the TI") has shed its "Ahoy, matey!" attitude in favor of a more contemporary, adult-oriented outlook. Now that's not to say you won't see things at Treasure Island that bring to mind the world of buccaneers and buried gold. The architecture and exterior of this place -- which includes a beautiful manmade cove, a boardwalk built from wooden planks and a couple of ships that look like they've sailed the high seas -- definitely suggests you're in for a swashbuckling good time. However, even though the pirate theme has been toned down, there are many other good reasons why you should stay here. You don't need a treasure map to tell you that Treasure Island has got an amazing location. And you won't need a car or a taxi to get around...just a pair of sprightly feet. Situated near the heart of the Las Vegas Strip, Treasure Island is connected via a free tram to The Mirage, and it's within walking distance of a handful of must-visit resorts (Wynn Las Vegas, Encore, The Venetian, The Palazzo and Caesars Palace) and four must-shop attractions (the Fashion Show mall, the Grand Canal Shoppes at The Venetian | The Palazzo, The Forum Shops at Caesars and The LINQ Promenade).Treasure Island also boasts really nice rooms. (No hammocks here!) So you'll enjoy fairly luxurious accommodations -- contemporary décor with all the necessary modern amenities -- for a reasonable price (not the cheapest in town but not the most expensive either). And if you splurge on a suite...well, you'll feel like you've plundered the place.Warm weather days at Treasure Island are devoted to sun, swaying palm trees and island foods. Relax on the beach-like pool deck (complete with a 25-person hot tub). The hub of the activity at the resort occurs near the entrance from Las Vegas Boulevard, where you'll discover several rollicking bars and restaurants. Things get wild and crazy in Gilley's Saloon, Dance Hall & Bar-B-Q. You can drink beer, watch bikini bull riding contests, listen to live bands and line dance. The restaurant specializes in barbecuing (including three different kinds of mouth-watering ribs) and has windows that look out onto the Strip.Señor Frog's is infamous for its party scene in Mexico (and, of course, now at Treasure Island). Along with great south-of-the-border food, it has a spring break-style vibe. Antics such as shots being poured into your mouth, sitting on "butt" stools or dancing on tabletops are highly encouraged...and there are two outside areas in case you just want to chill out.For one heck of a good show, get tickets to "Mystère." It's the longest running permanent Cirque du Soleil production in Las Vegas. Packed with over-the-top props and daring feats of human strength and agility, "Mystère" will blow you away.Need a quick bite? Grab slices of pizza at Pizzeria Francesco's and delicious hot dogs at Little Richie's Chicago-Style Beef and Dogs. For heartier meals in a casual setting, The Coffee Shop and The Buffet at TI are two wonderful options for breakfast, lunch or dinner. In addition, you can sit down to a fine, slower-paced meal at Phil's Italian Steak House. Prime cuts of meat (think filet mignon, venison tenderloin, Colorado lamb and chateaubriand) as well as classic Italian specialties are created in its Tuscan wood-fired kitchen. And you'll always find a fresh catch prepared to perfection at the Seafood Shack.A sanctuary for the senses, Oleksandra Spa & Salon offers peace and profound relaxation. Perched on the third floor, you can partake of soothing and revitalizing treatments from around the world -- like Swedish, ayurvedic and Lomi Lomi massages. And if you decide you want to avoid the crowds in the major malls, you can shop up a storm right at Treasure Island. Get everything from jewelry at TI Bling Co. and Bijoux Terner to fragrances at Perfrume Eleven and souvenirs at the Lobby Store and TI Gift Shop. Plus, there's a three-story retail center at the northeast corner of the property anchored by CVS.So, without being too cliché, the pirate days of yore may have been tossed o'erboard at Treasure Island, but that doesn't matter...because you don't need cannons here to have a blast here.
