In a world full of uncertainties, Sin City has one thing that is certain; all you need is love. And The Beatles LOVE by Cirque du Soleil has it. Packed with action, gravity-defying stunts, and stellar visuals that take us back to the lucid, laced, lava-lamp days of years gone by, LOVE is the grooviest Cirque production of them all.Set to the re-mastered soundtrack of rock ‘n’ roll’s most beloved troupe of storytelling singers, The Beatles (obviously), this show takes you on a musical journey through the wartime era of Vietnam. And that’s just the music. With acrobatic feats, aerial stunts, and explosive choreography to boot, you won’t have to dust off that old black book to track down your psychedelics dealer; we assure you, your mind will be blown.Performed in a round theater, and with speakers just about everywhere in the venue including in every headrest, this show brings a whole new meaning to surround sound for an unbelievable audio experience. And let’s just take a moment to mention the set. There are buildings, courtyards, a Volkswagen Beatle and more, the sets and props of LOVE are something to fall for on their own.Whether you’re a Beatles fanatic or were born yesterday (FYI babies are not ideal audience members), if you’re human, this is your chance to bust out those bell-bottoms and have a totally righteous night out on the town. And if you're looking for even more LOVE in your life, the TOAST TO LOVE VIP experience is all you need. This narrated backstage tour begins before the show starts and offers guests an up-close-and-personal history of The Beatles, use of show props, insider fun facts and the show's trademark ingenuity. Get your VIP tickets to see The Beatles LOVE by Cirque du Soleil at Mirage Las Vegas today.

Great Show

Love the Beatles and the show was fantastic. Actors flying over your head, not a bad seat in the house.
Best show I have seen in Las Vegas. It will knock your socks off..

RockTellz & CockTails presents Meat Loaf
RockTellz & CockTails presents Meat Loaf
One of rock 'n' roll's most gifted artists, Meat Loaf is once again offering fans of his music and acting a rare, stripped down deconstruction of his 47-year music, stage and film career.Best known for his powerful rock ballads "I Would Do Anything For Love (But I Won’t Do That)" and "Two Out of Three Ain't Bad," Meat Loaf captivates his audience with his engaging stage presence.    "I had so much fun doing the show in the fall, I couldn't wait to extend my time in Vegas when they asked me to," Meat said of SPI Entertainment, producer of the RockTellz & CockTails concert series. "For me, the show is more than just another concert because the RockTellz & CockTails format allows me to add something different. I'm able to bring together music, acting and theater and do things you can't normally do when you're on the road.  I get to have a lot of fun and it definitely shows."With a live band, dancers and back-up singers, Meat and his iconic red scarf gives the audience a special treat when he takes their questions on his career. Using a tablet, he illustrates his life story with personal photos. A video montage highlights his film career.Performances include "I Would Do Anything for Love (But I Won't Do That), "Paradise by the Dashboard Light," "Dead Ringer for Love," "Bat Out of Hell" and "Hot Patootie Bless My Soul," which Meat performs in sync with a video of his character "Eddie" in the cult classic, "The Rocky Horror Picture Show."Meat Loaf first rose to fame in 1977 with the release of "Bat Out Of Hell," the first in an operatic album trilogy. His earliest memorable film role was in "The Rocky Horror Picture Show." Since then, he has had roles in dozens of films and TV shows, including "Snitch," "Fight Club," "Monk," "Wayne's World" and "Tales from the Crypt."RockTellz & CockTails brings back the intimate, artist-centric shows that helped put the Las Vegas Strip on the map.

Meatloaf Made Me Cry....
PostedFebruary 16, 2014
Meatloaf What a great show.... He is so powerful and funny and entertaining. Myself at age 65 a year younger then Meatloaf was taken by his energy and power on stage. He puts everything into his singing, so much so where I would think that they may call peramedics before the show is over.. He sang all his hits, and with great video behind him. He sang two songs from Rocky Horror Picture Show , with a large group of girls dancing and doing the TimeWarp on stage... It blew me away bringing me back to my Old Rocky Horror picture Midnight Movie Show viewings.. That I realized tears were rolling down my face... For a guy this does not really happen very often.. Thank You Meat Loaf for a great show.

Themed as an island paradise (and a Jimmy Buffett outpost) and located on the busiest intersection of the Strip, the Flamingo is replete with entertainment, good eats and pink flamingos. The vibe:Fabulously pink, tropical attitude, enduring mob-era auraWhat we love:Right next to the wildlife habitat is the kind of pool you could spend the majority of your Vegas trip at (as long as you don't come in winter when it's closed). Not only are there palms trees and lush greenery everywhere your eyes can see, but the main pool is interconnected to lagoon areas, a waterslide and cascading waterfall. Factor in the hot tubs and modest-sized deck (with lounge chairs that get claimed quickly, so you may want to spring for a cabana here) and you've got a chill vibe that's more friendly than clubby as well as fun for all ages. It's hard to do better location-wise than the Flamingo. The rooms are reasonably priced especially considering you're steps away from elite resorts and attractions like the Fountains at Bellagio, the High Roller observation wheel, the Eiffel Tower Viewing Deck and The Forum Shops at Caesars Palace.Insider tips:Snap a photo at Bugsy Siegel's memorial. It's located between the wildlife habitat and the pools, just outside the wedding chapel. Look for a stone pillar and bronze plaque set amid a beautiful garden. This marks the site of the original hotel (knocked down in 1993).Don't wait to check out. When lines are long, you'll often spot a roving ambassador at the Flamingo with the ability to check you out on an iPad. The only down side: You won't get your receipt immediately. You'll have to wait until it's emailed to you.Use the Flamingo's north doors when you're going to The LINQ Promenade. Otherwise you'll have to walk out onto the Strip. Trust us, you want to avoid the river of people that flows along the sidewalk here. Nothing beats the direct access you have from the resort's side entrance.Good to know:The Flamingo opened in 1946. We're telling you this for two reasons. One: That's really cool historically. Two: We want to set your expectations appropriately. With anything that's been around a long time, there's going to be stuff that needs to be refurbished and carpeting that shows wear and tear. Plus, some past remodeling projects were piecemeal, which doesn't lend to the feeling of a cohesive property. However, despite all this, you'll find that many of the rooms and amenities are surprisingly contemporary.Remember how we mentioned that this hotel was built in 1946...well, being constructed back then means that you'll find low ceilings in the casino compared to those at newer properties. If you start to feel overwhelmed or closed in while gambling, stroll over to the Margaritaville Casino. The doors are open to the Strip so it feels roomier and the ventilation is better. The Flamingo has a dedicated seven-story parking garage -- used for both valet and self-parking. On busy weekends it can fill up. When this happens, valet parking may be restricted to registered guests and Total Rewards club membersThere is valet and self-parking. Rates vary, so click here for details.

Great Location
PostedJanuary 26, 2014
I have been to a lot of hotels in Vegas, but for the price and location and being in the middle of the busy strip..I think The Flamingo Hotel is the best deal, location and action spot on the strip.

Home to "Mystère," the longest running Cirque du Soleil show in Vegas, Treasure Island has shed its "Ahoy, matey!" attitude for a more contemporary outlook while blending a great location with mid-range pricing, shops and restaurants. The vibe:Conveniently placed and more contemporary than seafaring with good, solid rooms. What we love:Location, location, location. Like the real estate mantra, this is what you get when you stay here - and it's hard to beat. Treasure Island is the affordable option in a sea of five-star resorts (sitting just across the street are Wynn Las Vegas, Encore, The Venetian and The Palazzo). Treasure Island is also convenient to shopping (well hello there neighbor…Fashion Show mall) and other hot stuff like The Mirage's erupting volcano. There's a little bit of country in all of us, so you won't have to be a country music fan to have a great time at Gilley's Saloon, Dance Hall & Bar-B-Q. You'll get your kicks line dancing, listening to live bands or just checking out the gorgeous Gilley Girls in their trademark chaps. After you've knocked back a few beers to fortify your courage, hop in the saddle of the mechanical bull. Insider tips:If you're coming to Treasure Island by car to see "Mystère," it's easiest to self-park because the entrance from the garage leads directly to the box office and theater. Park on level three where there's a covered walkway that goes right into the resort. Although entering is no sweat, be forewarned because when the show lets out there's a traffic jam of people in this area.At T.I., a major retail center literally awaits on each corner. Head through the sports book and out to Spring Mountain Road, where the escalator and pedestrian bridge will take you directly to the Fashion Show mall. On the other two corners on the east side of Las Vegas Boulevard, you'll find the Grand Canal Shoppes at The Venetian | The Palazzo and the Esplanades at Wynn and Encore.Treasure Island is connected to The Mirage by a free tram (a great way to save your legs and some cash).Good to know:If you're arriving at peak check-in times (usually between the hours of 4 and 7 p.m.), be prepared to wait. Lines are often long at checkout time too. So unless you have an issue or need a receipt, it's best to check out electronically.Treasure Island isn't an upscale hotel brand so you won't find celebrity chefs or high-end boutiques on the premises. But that doesn't matter because all of those things are within walking distance.
