FERRARI90's Reviews

Home to "Mystère," the longest running Cirque du Soleil show in Vegas, Treasure Island has shed its "Ahoy, matey!" attitude for a more contemporary outlook while blending a great location with mid-range pricing, shops and restaurants. The vibe:Conveniently placed and more contemporary than seafaring with good, solid rooms. What we love:Location, location, location. Like the real estate mantra, this is what you get when you stay here - and it's hard to beat. Treasure Island is the affordable option in a sea of five-star resorts (sitting just across the street are Wynn Las Vegas, Encore, The Venetian and The Palazzo). Treasure Island is also convenient to shopping (well hello there neighbor…Fashion Show mall) and other hot stuff like The Mirage's erupting volcano. There's a little bit of country in all of us, so you won't have to be a country music fan to have a great time at Gilley's Saloon, Dance Hall & Bar-B-Q. You'll get your kicks line dancing, listening to live bands or just checking out the gorgeous Gilley Girls in their trademark chaps. After you've knocked back a few beers to fortify your courage, hop in the saddle of the mechanical bull. Insider tips:If you're coming to Treasure Island by car to see "Mystère," it's easiest to self-park because the entrance from the garage leads directly to the box office and theater. Park on level three where there's a covered walkway that goes right into the resort. Although entering is no sweat, be forewarned because when the show lets out there's a traffic jam of people in this area.At T.I., a major retail center literally awaits on each corner. Head through the sports book and out to Spring Mountain Road, where the escalator and pedestrian bridge will take you directly to the Fashion Show mall. On the other two corners on the east side of Las Vegas Boulevard, you'll find the Grand Canal Shoppes at The Venetian | The Palazzo and the Esplanades at Wynn and Encore.Treasure Island is connected to The Mirage by a free tram (a great way to save your legs and some cash).Good to know:If you're arriving at peak check-in times (usually between the hours of 4 and 7 p.m.), be prepared to wait. Lines are often long at checkout time too. So unless you have an issue or need a receipt, it's best to check out electronically.Treasure Island isn't an upscale hotel brand so you won't find celebrity chefs or high-end boutiques on the premises. But that doesn't matter because all of those things are within walking distance.

TREASURE ISLAND
PostedAugust 14, 2017
It's not so much of a treasure chest more like a Hotel that stole my treasure. LOL!!!!!!!!!! Just kidding. That's Vegas overall. The Hotel was Overall a really good stay. This is our second time staying here but the last time was like ten years ago. They have made upgrades to keep the place in really good shape. My wife and I first trip together was at Treasure island.
From Check in to Check out we had no issues with any of the people. Our room was great and waitress ands bartenders just awesome! Especially those in the sports book. Sportsbook and poker staff were great and I made some really good friendships. I would go back if I bring my son! But that's not likely going to happen until hes over 19. long wat to go for that/
I find that Vegas overall has changed way to family oriented. Next trip I may look for an adult only place just my preferences. Be prepare to spend money I found the food to be pricey but I didn't really eat at the Hotel as I go off the strip.
The pool also has gone threw some changes I found it small for the amount of people their this trip. Like I said way too many kids. DJ by the pool was new and fun! Weather was amazing! Waitresses also very friendly with some really nice booties. My wife said the seating was arranged weird and we did not take advantage of a cabana or lounge chair pool side. I believe all had extra cost.
We love Vegas and its our Adult trip to get away from kids so we have to plan more wisely next year we go.

Best known for his role on the Emmy award-winning sitcom Everybody Loves Raymond, Brad Garrett returns to his Vegas roots with his own comedy club inside the MGM Grand. Garrett started performing in Vegas in the '80s as an opening act big-name performers including Frank Sinatra, Sammy Davis Jr. and Liza Minnelli. With almost 25 years as a headliner on the Las Vegas Strip under his belt, Garrett always wanted to open a club in the city that helped launch his career. Before opening his club at the MGM Grand, Garrett operated a club at the Tropicana. This club features established comedians and up-and-coming acts. Garrett himself only performs from time-to-time, but the comedians that regularly take the stage are sure to have to falling out of your seat laughing.

ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY WEEK - NIGHT ONE
PostedApril 1, 2013
Brad Garrett was awesome. The talent of the comedians was exceptional. My wife and I had a great time. I'm glad I was sitting at the bar away from the stage. That's all I have to say about that.
Nevr stopped laughing. It was so funny on occassion I seen the wait staff and bartenders laughing as much as I was. Some comedians and places I have attended crowd interaction was frowned upon, NOT HERE!
We enjoyed every minute of our night at Brad Garrett's Comedy club and the whole venue. Length of show was very acceptable.
One negative is the cost of the drinks. But take it as you will. Remember you are in VEGAS!
MUST SEE IF BRAD IS IN TOWN. He does not hold back even on his own staff.
awesome show!

It’s definitely getting hot in here and the performers are definitely taking off all their clothes. Exploring the very sexy and very un-family-friendly side of Cirque du Soleil, Zumanity whips - er - whisks audience members up for a deliciously wild ride to discover their sensual side.Unlike other Cirque du Soleil productions, Zumanity has no storyline. Instead, this highly eroticized, cabaret-style spectacle offers a bunch of unique characters whose performances are each themed by different elements of sexuality. Oh, and there is no traditional Cirque gibberish either unless you count some moans and groans as such.Between the leather, chains, silks and well, some things we just can’t share, you can bet a little laughter is welcomed. Let your hair down, loosen one extra button, and get your naughty on for some sexy entertainment that just may be a precursor for the remainder of your evening.
