Amy22's Reviews

For those seeking a saucy, sumptuous and all around awe-inspiring evening of entertainment, look no further than Le Rêve at Wynn Las Vegas. You’ll never know how sexy it can be to kick water in someone’s face until you see this show (kinda makes us want to slosh through every puddle we see).An escape from reality, Le Rêve, French for “The Dream,” takes you through passion and heartbreak in a storyline that is about as steamy as it gets…and we’re not talking about the red-hot fire and water action either. The show has so many incredible elements, starting with the theater itself. It’s not small, but it’s very intimate, a lot like the shape of a funnel – so there’s really no bad seat in the house. Delicate fabric flowers flutter down from the ceiling, hiding the most exquisite aerial acrobats that plunge deep into the 27-foot-deep circular pool below. It’s equipped with a mobile platform, which rises and falls for the different scenes. The water elements perfectly accentuate the performers’ chiseled figures, making the already slinky costumes cling in all the right places, if you know what we mean. The fire and fog create intensity and mystery to an already unbelievable submerging set. There’s dancing, acrobatics, synchronized swimmers, divers and so much more.  This is one show you can’t miss, just trust us on this one…you’ll forget about all those meetings and to-do lists when you melt into the colorful aquatic wonderland that is Le Rêve.

Too potty mouth for me!
PostedFebruary 5, 2013
I just didn't like his potty mouth. He could be just as funny without all the foul language. Plus, he seemed to ramble at times. Oh well, live and learn.

Soul2Soul is the first time in six years that McGraw and Hill have performed together on stage in the United States. As two of country music's top-selling artists, McGraw and Hill typically perform in huge arenas to audiences of more than 50,000 people. On the Las Vegas Strip, fans get a chance to see the Grammy Award-winning entertainers in an intimate concert format in the 1,815-seat theater, formerly the home of "Phantom - The Las Vegas Spectacular." The set list includes many of McGraw and Hill's No. 1 hit songs including "Piece of My Heart," "Like We Never Loved At All," "The Cowboy in Me," "One of Those Nights," "Cry," "It's Your Love," and "I Need You," presented with innovative lighting and set design reminiscent of their Soul2Soul concerts. The duo is also performing covers of other artists' notable songs. Both McGraw and Hill have impressive musical accolades. McGraw has sold more than 40 million records worldwide. With hit songs, including "Live Like You Were Dying," "Everywhere" and "Real Good Man," he dominates the charts with 32 No. 1 singles. Hill is a five-time Grammy award winner, who has also won three Country Music Association awards, 12 Academy of Country Music awards, four American Music awards and four People's Choice awards. The couple met in 1996 on the Spontaneous Combustion Tour and were married later that year. In the mid 1990s, Hill took a break from touring and recording to start a family. The couple has three children together. She returned in 1998 with crossover album "Faith" that sparked a five year period where she charted on both the pop and country charts.McGraw and Hill began performing together in 2000 in their record-breaking "Soul2Soul" tour, becoming that year's top-grossing and most successful U.S. tour. After a six-year break following the birth of her third daughter, Hill rejoined McGraw on tour with "Soul2Soul II." It became the highest-grossing country music tour of all time, the most attended of the year in any musical genre and remains the highest-grossing multiyear North American tour in country music history. In Soul2Soul with Tim McGraw & Faith Hill at the Venetian, the duo works to capture the energy of their touring show in a smaller venue and to allow audience members a personal interaction with the first couple of country music.

We loved this show. The sound quality was awesome. Faith and Tim were very personal with the audience. My husband was a little uncertain about the music because he doesn't listen to country music. He LOVED it! A MUST see!

This was an awesome way to view the Grand Canyon! The entire flight was very smooth. The pilot was very courteous and considerate of those who were a little apprehensive of flying over the Canyon.
