Three unique towers. Two adjoining properties. One commitment to first-class service. At The Signature at MGM Grand, guests stay in a relaxing, upscale retreat with complete access to the numerous amenities of the MGM Grand.Located on a beautifully landscaped private property adjacent to the MGM Grand, The Signature is a secluded, elegant enclave just a few steps away from the Las Vegas Strip. Each of the three gleaming towers in this gated resort has its own exclusive valet, entrance, lobby and check-in as well as a full service concierge.A high level of service is noticeable from the minute a guest pulls up to any of the three towers, and lasts throughout their departure. The parking attendants are quick to offer bottled water while doormen welcome guests into one of three distinctively decorated lobbies with a smile. The non-smoking boutique property offers a variety of luxurious one-bedroom, two-bedroom and deluxe suites, many with balconies that feature views of either the Strip or the surrounding mountains. Guests enjoy all the qualities of the finest hotels including deluxe king beds, marble and granite bathrooms with Jacuzzi-brand whirlpool tubs and bath products, high-end kitchenette appliances from Sub-Zero and Miele, ultra-thin LCD flat-screen high definition TVs, Wi-Fi internet access, in-room massages (for a fee), newspaper delivery and more. Both Tower 1 and 3 offer a state-of-the-art fitness center, while all three have heated outdoor pools. Meeting space is located off the pool area of Tower 2, and a gift shop and ATM are available in Tower 1. All three towers, as well as the MGM Grand, are accessible via indoor walkways. Those who want to dine on the property will find a delicatessen, Delights, in The Signature at MGM's Tower 2. At the entrance to Tower 1, The Lounge is the perfect place to unwind with a nightcap, while Starbucks Coffee Shop will help guests start their day with a much-needed burst of energy. An elaborate, gourmet menu featuring entrees, appetizers, desserts and a complete bar selection is available 24 hours daily for those who want to enjoy gourmet cuisine dining in-suite.With the additional dining, nightlife and entertainment options just a short, one-minute walk away at the neighboring MGM Grand, a stay at The Signature really offers the best of both worlds: luxury living and the Vegas action of a world-class hotel. It's an escape that doesn't feel like Las Vegas, except when you want it to.

We loved our room and the quiet, off-strip location of the Signature. We didn't mind the 20 minute walk thru to the MGM and then out to the strip. However, we did find it easier and preferred to go out the back (where cars enter) and across to Planet Hollywood and/or the Strip.
Great gym and found staff throughout the hotel (except the café) were pleasant and helpful.
Main criticism is the ridiculous daily resort charge - just build it into the price and don't pretend we are getting anything for it, because a bottle of water and the newspaper (if you go looking for it) is nonsense.
We also had a small issue with the deli café located in the Signature. Service was very slow and when we finally got to place our order, we were told, "we have run out of milk and aren't doing coffees...try Starbucks"!!!! The attendant was not at all apologetic and very rude in the way she knocked us back. Not good enough!
Review forced me to rate casino and pool - there is no casino (good thing) and pool closed in winter, so disregard this aspect of review!

Luggage drop-off?

I do not travel very often so I don't know how the check-in process will go. My flight gets in at 11:40am on a Monday. I have arranged shuttle service from the airport to the Strip. Can I go to the Signature and check in and leave my luggage there, even if it's not official check-in time yet? Likewise, on Friday, I assume check-out is at 11am, but my flight home isn't until 4pm. Can I leave my luggage at The Signature until I go to the airport?
We arrived early, but as rooms were made up they were happy to check us in. A good tip - you can check in at the airport...at the far end of the baggage collection hall, near carousel 1. We did this while waiting for our luggage, so saved a few minutes - were given room keys there and able to go straight up, once our taxi dropped us off. Make sure you tell taxi which tower you are in!
Likewise, we weren't flying out til late, so you can leave your luggage and go out for the day - no hassles!
