Diane68's Reviews

This show has gone to the dogs — and cats. Featuring everyday pets doing extraordinary things, Gregory Popovich's Comedy Pet Theater is the cutest show on the Las Vegas Strip. You'll see dogs, cats, doves and other animals act out scenarios like passengers waiting to board a train, students in a classroom and patients waiting to be seen by a doctor. Of course the passengers, students and patients are played by Popovich's more than 30 pets. As the creator, he's the main star of the show. However, his cuddly cast members can't help but steal the spotlight. The show also features circus acts like juggling, gymnastics and a jump rope routine. Some of the acts are performed by Popovich, while others showcase the talents of his featured artists. One of them is his daughter Anastasie. She dances, twirls a baton and leads a group of adorable dachshunds in a routine. She directs the dogs with ease, a talent she must have inherited from her father.A fifth-generation circus performer, Russian-born Popovich developed his skills at the Moscow Circus School. His talents earned him a spot touring with the Moscow Circus. He has performed throughout Europe, Japan and America in the Ringling Brothers and Barnum & Bailey Circus and at the Circus Circus in Las Vegas. In the show he juggles pins and small hoops and even balances on a free-standing ladder.Hailing from a family of circus performers, Popovich also learned how to create strong bonds with animals and how to train them. All of the animals in the show were rescued from shelters around the country and transformed into stars on the Strip. In 2009, Popovich released his first book, "You CAN Train Your Cat."

Great for animal lovers!
PostedDecember 25, 2016
This was a great show for those of us who love animals. Knowing that all the animals in the show are rescues, makes it even better. Gregory Popovich does many acts of Russian clown which include juggling and other stunts that keep you entertained. There's a lovely storyline which showcases the animals along with other cast members.
It's a very endearing and entertaining show that I will most likely be back to see. It was very entertaining for adults and even more so for kids.

Most people are familiar with Leno's every-man style from his work as the host of the Emmy Award-winning "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno." His comedy touches on topics that audiences of all ages can relate to, and he doesn't use a lot of profanity. Before "The Tonight Show," Leno worked as a stand-up comedian headlining in clubs across the country. He performed as an opening act for well known entertainers including Tom Jones and John Denver. In 1977 Leno made his debut on "The Tonight Show starring Johnny Carson" and was recognized as a permanent guest host in 1987.Leno started his tenure as the main host for "The Tonight Show" in 1992 and went on to host the show for 17 years. In 2009, he passed the torch to fellow late night comedian Conan O' Brian. Leno's new talk show, "The Jay Leno Show," debuted that same year. After the show ended, Leno returned to star as the host of the "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno" in March 2010 replacing O'Brien. In 2014 Leno will retired from the "Tonight Show" and Jimmy Fallon replaced him.

Cool show!
PostedApril 15, 2013
The show started with Finis Henderson (singer, comic, impersonator) who was excellent! He should really have a show of his own on the strip!
Jay Leno was as cool as he ever was. He carried the show for 90 minutes without any stops. He kept it clean, yet very funny.
Vegas.com gave us the perfect seats (as always) which made it a perfect show experience.
Thankfully Jay Leno was doing a show during the same time we were in Vegas. If he's in town during your trip or you can schedule your trip to Vegas when you know Jay will be there, it's totally worth it!!!

In a world full of uncertainties, in Sin City one thing is certain; all you need is love – Cirque du Soleil’s “The Beatles LOVE,” that is. Packed with action, gravity-defying stunts, and stellar visuals that take us back to the lucid, laced, lava-lamp days of years gone by, LOVE is the grooviest Cirque production of them all.Set to the re-mastered soundtrack of rock ‘n’ roll’s most beloved troupe of storytelling singers, The Beatles (obviously), this show takes you on a musical journey through the wartime era of WWII. And that’s just the music. With acrobatic feats, aerial stunts, and explosive choreography to boot, you won’t have to dust off that old black book to track down your psychedelics dealer; we assure you that your senses will be blown regardless.Performed in a round theater, and with speakers just about everywhere in the venue including in every headrest, this show brings a whole new meaning to surround sound for an unbelievable audio experience. And let’s just take a moment to mention the set. There are buildings, courtyards, a Volkswagen Beatle and more, the sets and props of LOVE are something to fall for on their own.Whether you’re a Beatles fanatic or were born yesterday (FYI babies are not ideal audience members), if you’re human, this is your chance to bust out those bell-bottoms and have a totally righteous night out on the town.

Get ready to experience the ultimate sensory overload when our favorite blue bros take the stage and crank up the volume. An audiovisual encounter unlike anything else on the Strip, Blue Man Group is fun for the whole family and just doesn’t get old no matter how many times you see it.  The narrators of the Blue Man Group show profess to know a lot about human nature and social evolution, but the three bald and blue stars are oddly oblivious. Through music, movement and only a little bit of verbal communication, you become a part of this production and swim in the sights and sounds that douse the theater. The show is good clean fun with a variety of acts and quick-change illusions, but the core of its appeal is the company's signature music, played on far-out, makeshift instruments.Seriously fun and unconventionally educational, you’ll have had a lot of laughs, and have maybe even shaken your caboose. Go ahead and let your jaw drop open, after all, being consumed by entertainment produced by three blue men is a perfectly acceptable reaction.

Great show!
PostedApril 15, 2013
This was my second time seeing the show and I still love it! The only thing I can say is, best viewing for this show is to be mid to back of the theatre. Last time, we were at the first row (for some shows a great idea) but u see some of what's going on in the back which ruin some of the acts.
Overall a great show! I love that they re-do the story/music which makes it a new show every time.
