Sergio's Questions

There are luxury hotels, and then there's The Palazzo. Since opening in 2008, as a sister to the beloved Italian-themed resort The Venetian, it has become the benchmark for extravagance, impeccable service and hospitality. The resort is largest LEED-certified building in the world as well. During the construction of The Palazzo, some 70 percent of waste materials were recycled, diverting nearly 42,000 tons from the landfill. Numerous green initiatives regarding recycling, energy, water, air quality and cleaning products are also in place here.Located at the heart of the Las Vegas Strip, this property commands stunning views -- especially for guests staying in the Prestige Suites, its exclusive concierge level on the 23rd floor. All of the accommodations, however, are suites and boast exceptional comfort. Elegant while expressing warmth through modern décor, the suites start at 720 square feet in size. They're all appointed with Egyptian cotton sheets, pillow-top beds, multiple flat-screen LCD televisions, a DVD player, an in-room safe and a private work desk with wireless internet access. In addition, the spacious bathroom boasts a 20-inch LCD television, a Roman tub and a separate glass-enclosed shower. When it comes to entertainment, there's nothing like "Panda!" This multi-faceted production comes from Beijing and features acrobatics, martial arts, music and dance. Among the talented cast are the China National Acrobatic Troupe and Shaolin Monastery Kung Fu Monks Troupe.  The restaurants at The Palazzo come from the who's who of the culinary world. Take Cut by illustrious chef Wolfgang Puck. This stylish steakhouse offers cutting-edge interior design and a sophisticated menu of the finest prime beef. Then there’s Carnevino, an Italian-themed steakhouse by chef Mario Batali, with an international wine list from winemaker Joe Bastianich. Morel’s French Steakhouse & Bistro is a contemporary restaurant where traditional French cuisine meets the popular flavors of American cooking. Plus, you can experience an amazing evening of modern Brazilian/Japanese cuisine at SushiSamba or enjoy a delicious specialty hamburger with a variety of unusual toppings at i?burgers.World-class chef Emeril Lagasse opened the elegant Table 10 to showcase his distinctive Creole cooking, but guests can also check out the laid-back, party atmosphere in his sports bar Lagasse’s Stadium. He combines snack favorites with his bold culinary creations here. There's plush stadium-style seating, skyboxes, an abundance of big-screen TVs, billiard tables and an outdoor patio just steps from the Strip as well.Speaking of casual eateries, check out Grimaldi's, the famous Brooklyn-born, thin-crust pizzeria. And a broad selection of breakfast, lunch and dinner items -- along with 20 fantastic desserts -- is available at the Grand Luxe Café.Pleasure seekers will find a fusion of chic design, state-of-the-art technology and signature drinks at Lavo, a restaurant and nightclub operated by the same people who created Tao Asian Bistro and Nightclub. With more than 20,000 square feet of space, it offers fine Italian cuisine, a sexy lounge and one of the most energetic dance floors in town. To keep the good times rolling at night, the Double Helix Wine & Whiskey Bar and the Fusion Latin Mixology Bar pour an array of hand-crafted cocktails. The Salute Lounge features high-energy bands, while the Laguna Champagne Bar is perfect for more intimate mixing and mingling. The Grand Canal Shoppes at The Venetian | The Palazzo has bragging rights for bringing Barneys New York to Las Vegas. The 875,000-square-foot themed mall stretches from the indoor canal at The Venetian all the way to the Waterfall Atrium at The Palazzo and presents shopaholics with a dizzying lineup of approximately 160 upscale fashion, jewelry and lifestyle stores. If you need to escape to a place that inspires relaxation, head to the resort’s five-acre pool deck. Situated on the fourth floor and reminiscent of a Roman garden, the gorgeous five-acre facility is merged with that of The Venetian. In total, there are seven different pools (including the adults-only Azure Pool), four hot tubs and 41 cabanas. Or guests can seek out a pampering experience at Canyon Ranch SpaClub. A tranquil sanctuary, it boasts a sauna, a steam room, more than 80 treatment rooms, a state-of-the-art fitness studio, a 40-foot rock climbing wall and a grill that serves healthy gourmet cuisine.Since it's adjoined to the gigantic 4,027-room Venetian, anything that's not at The Palazzo is just steps away, like Broadway-caliber shows, such as "Rock of Ages."Defining the spirit of elegance and charm, The Palazzo proudly delivers all the latest trends in retail, restaurants and luxurious living. Coexisting with Las Vegas' neon displays and non-stop action, guests can revel in it all from a room atop one of the city's most revered resorts.-- By Renée LiButti
