No, it's not your average bachelor's view of saying "I do." Marriage Can Be Murder is an award-winning interactive comedy and murder mystery dinner experience where the audience members become part of the show. If you liked the movie "Clue," then this is a dinner show that you will want to sink your teeth into.Anyone can be a suspect as actors are not readily apparent among the seemingly innocent guests. You might be seated next to another patron or maybe even the murder suspect, but only time will tell as the night unravels and more clues are revealed.Guests are seated at banquet tables. Salad and warm rolls are served first, followed by an entrée with your choice of chicken, beef or fish and cheesecake for dessert. DD, a sometimes ditzy and sometimes clued-in blonde, is your host for the evening. DD assigns some guests roles including doctor or pallbearer who are called to service each time someone is murdered."This guy has sax appeal," says DD as she stops by one male guest who looks like he would be a good fit for the processional band. Each guest has a game card that DD refers to as sleuth pad. The card has a space for your name and a place to write who the victim and killer are and what the motive is for each of the four murders that take place during the show. After the first murder, police Lt. Eric Post arrives. Wearing too short and fitted khaki shorts, Post makes the audience laugh before he even opens his mouth. He interrogates guests while consulting DD for some background information."This guy's name was Dan Druff?" asks Post."He was flaky," replies DD.The entire show is filled with funny one-liners like this as DD, Post and a few other wacky characters attempt to find the killer. After the main course is served, there's a short break where people can mingle, discuss the murders and get the names of other guests and potential suspects. During this time, some people get out of their seats while others chat amongst themselves. You can be as involved or uninvolved with this show as you want and still have a good time.Making murder a laughing matter doesn't seem possible, but husband and wife team Eric and Jayne Post, who star as the lieutenant and DD in the show, have no problem stirring up laughs with their comical banter. They created the four-dimensional theater concept more than 20 years ago. It's the longest-running dinner show in Las Vegas with more than 10 years of success."Guests keep coming back to see the show because they enjoy the interaction of characters on stage and in the crowd. Our audience members love that they are submerged into the action and with their reactions, each show takes on a different twist and turn," said Post.Marriage Can Be Murder combines comedy and suspense to keep you guessing through dessert. So get out your magnifying glass and detective hat for a night of mystery and fun.Dinner menu:Pre-killing course- Salad with Spring Greens and your choice of dressing (Ranch & Italian) Main corpse, um… we mean course- Includes your choice of one of the following: Chicken Marsala, Beef Brisket, Pasta, Marinara *All main course options served with mashed potatoes and chef’s selection of steamed vegetables. Death by Sugar- Ice Cream with chocolate sauce.

Cirque du Soleil and the Michael Jackson Estate's tribute to the King of Pop is a visually super-charged journey through inspiration and self-discovery. The plot -- four friends' good-versus-evil quest for solidarity and self-belief -- is a backdrop for weighty motifs that touch on civil rights, sexuality and loneliness en route to a message about world unity. Each of four main characters receive an object from Michael -- the show's narrator and spirit guide -- and develop as individuals as they take on their mentor's qualities. First, Clumsy is given Michael's shoes, and with his newfound balance, performs a double slackline act to "Bad." Next, Shy overcomes her name when she receives Michael’s glasses, and she vanquishes a troupe of warriors in a martial arts display set to "2000 Watts" and "Jam." Then, Smarty Pants, the de facto leader of the four, puts on Michael's hat and is imbued with the artist's legendary gracefulness in "Smile." Finally, Sneaky, the troublemaker, performs a playful manipulation act with the rogue glove to "This Place Hotel" and "Working Day & Night."The objects become talismans that lead the four to understand that they were brought together by their love of Michael and are meant to carry on his vision of joy, peace and kindness.Michael Jackson ONE by Cirque du Soleil is appropriately dance-driven. A phantom-like character who doesn’t exactly represent Michael but does embody his spirit moves fluidly around the stage, displaying the artist's signature grace and flair. Most of cast moves with sharper edges, in an urban-inspired dance style that emphasizes quick shifts between fast and slow. The style is achieved most impressively in a dance and tumbling act set to "Smooth Criminal." Mephisto's elite force of villains, dressed in flaring trench coats, bound and flip across the stage in unison. In the air, they appear to move slower than natural, but once they hit the floor, they spring into double-time.In a singularly beautiful scene played out to "Planet Earth" and "Earth Song," dancers move behind a translucent veil to cast interacting shadows. The artists manipulate the sizes of their shadows by placing themselves at varying distances behind the veil, and they play with illusion as they bend their forms to create images of plants and animals.Michael Jackson ONE portrays Jackson as spirited, hopeful and, above all, magical. After the heroes are united by their love for him, Michael's spirit descends onto the stage and dances in dazzling illusions, in a miraculous moment set to "Man in the Mirror."The heroes are challenged throughout the production by Mephisto – an antagonist made of radios, microphones, tungsten bulbs, televisions, cameras and surveillance equipment. The image bitterly pokes fun at the paparazzi and media muckrakers that plagued Jackson throughout his life. But light and darkness become one at the close of the show, and the audience is left with a final message from Michael: "We're putting love back into the world. To remind the world that love is important. To love each other. We are one."
