Best known for his role on the Emmy award-winning sitcom Everybody Loves Raymond, Brad Garrett returns to his Vegas roots with his comedy club at the MGM Grand. Garrett started performing in Vegas in the '80s as an opening act big-name performers including Frank Sinatra, Sammy Davis Jr. and Liza Minnelli. With almost 25 years as a headliner on the Las Vegas Strip under his belt, Garrett always wanted to open a club in the city that helped launch his career. Before opening his club at the MGM Grand, Garrett operated a club at the Tropicana. His new club features established comedians and up-and-coming acts. Garrett has also been known to show up for a surprise appearance from time to time.

One of the best comedy performances I have ever been to. Brad was performing when we were there. My wife and I cried the entire show due to extreme laughter! Well worth the money and the time. If you like comedy with a little bit of a raunchy edge to it you will love this show! GREAT!!

Couch potatoes rejoice! There's now a reason (well five reasons, really) to turn off your TV and come to Vegas! Tune in to your favorite Las Vegas-based reality TV shows in person and possibly even meet the shows' stars on this tour, including "Tanked," "American Restoration," "Counting Cars," "Toy Shack" and "Pawn Stars."TV enthusiasts will spend 30 minutes at each stop, starting with Animal Planet's hit show "Tanked," which dives into the operations of the nation's largest aquarium manufacturing company, Acrylic Tank Manufacturing (ATM). Visit the 13,000-square-foot facility where brothers-in-law Wayde King and Brett Raymer create one-of-a-kind tanks including pyramids, kegs and cars for all sorts of clients, including casinos, churches and celebrities.Next you will experience some of the History Channel's most popular shows such as "Pawn Stars" spin-off "American Restoration," where metal artist Rick Dale, his teenage son and the staff at Rick's Restorations take rusty, old items like slot machines and gas carts and magically return them to their original luster. Cruise by "Pawn Stars" regular Danny Koker's automobile restoration and customization company, Count's Kustoms, home to the show "Counting Cars." And ogle collectible toys like vintage Hot Wheels and Transformers at The Toy Shack, owned by "Pawn Stars" toy expert Johnny Jiminez. Finally, visit the home of the History Channel's top-rated show, "Pawn Stars," featuring the family-run Gold and Silver Pawn Shop. You may even rub elbows with one of the show's stars such as Rick Harrison, Richard "Old Man" Harrison, Corey "Big Hoss" Harrison and Austin "Chumlee" Russell. The shop itself is packed with thousands of interesting items, from artwork by famous artists to Super Bowl rings.Note: The opportunity to meet and greet the shows' stars is not guaranteed. Inside tours depend upon filming schedule. Rick's Restorations is not included in the Sunday tour.

If you are a fan of these tv shows you will not be disapponited! I was blown away by how many of the stars of the shows we got to meet in person. At Rick's Restorations we meet the entire cast of the show and had individual, autographed pics taken with Rick Dale. At ATM we hung out with the general who signed anything we wanted. At Count's Kustoms, Rolly came out to talk to everyone and take individual pics as well as sign autographs. At Johnny's Toy Shack we meet Johnny, he was extremely polite and happy to see the people on the tour. He would also sign anything. Being a fan of these shows, this tour is one of the best I have ever been on! GREAT TIME!!!!!!!!

Three unique towers. Two adjoining properties. One commitment to first-class service. At The Signature at MGM Grand, guests stay in a relaxing, upscale retreat with complete access to the numerous amenities of the MGM Grand.Located on a beautifully landscaped private property adjacent to the MGM Grand, The Signature is a secluded, elegant enclave just a few steps away from the Las Vegas Strip. Each of the three gleaming towers in this gated resort has its own exclusive valet, entrance, lobby and check-in as well as a full service concierge.A high level of service is noticeable from the minute a guest pulls up to any of the three towers, and lasts throughout their departure. The parking attendants are quick to offer bottled water while doormen welcome guests into one of three distinctively decorated lobbies with a smile. The non-smoking boutique property offers a variety of luxurious one-bedroom, two-bedroom and deluxe suites, many with balconies that feature views of either the Strip or the surrounding mountains. Guests enjoy all the qualities of the finest hotels including deluxe king beds, marble and granite bathrooms with Jacuzzi-brand whirlpool tubs and bath products, high-end kitchenette appliances from Sub-Zero and Miele, ultra-thin LCD flat-screen high definition TVs, Wi-Fi internet access, in-room massages (for a fee), newspaper delivery and more. Both Tower 1 and 3 offer a state-of-the-art fitness center, while all three have heated outdoor pools. Meeting space is located off the pool area of Tower 2, and a gift shop and ATM are available in Tower 1. All three towers, as well as the MGM Grand, are accessible via indoor walkways. Those who want to dine on the property will find a delicatessen, Delights, in The Signature at MGM's Tower 2. At the entrance to Tower 1, The Lounge is the perfect place to unwind with a nightcap, while Starbucks Coffee Shop will help guests start their day with a much-needed burst of energy. An elaborate, gourmet menu featuring entrees, appetizers, desserts and a complete bar selection is available 24 hours daily for those who want to enjoy gourmet cuisine dining in-suite.With the additional dining, nightlife and entertainment options just a short, one-minute walk away at the neighboring MGM Grand, a stay at The Signature really offers the best of both worlds: luxury living and the Vegas action of a world-class hotel. It's an escape that doesn't feel like Las Vegas, except when you want it to.

Good and Not So Good
PostedSeptember 27, 2012
Let me start with the good. Very impressive upscale hotel. Penthouses are resonably priced and beautiful! The staff at the hotel are some of the best I've seen! Hospitality, cleanliness, and quality are superb. You feel like you are in a resort in Beverly Hills. Once again beautiful hotel!! We thought we had found the hotel that we would return to for years to come.
Now for the bad. When we went to check out it was extremely early in the morning and we had a fight to catch. I knew I had a bill because we had charged drinks to the room. I was given a copy of this and didnt even give a thought to it. Later in the day I looked at it and noticed an unexpected charge of $112. This charge was listed as a resort fee of $25 a day plus tax. I tried for two weeks to get a hold of someone to explain this to me. When I would finally reach someone I was given many different explanations as to this charge. They claimed at first that it covered your complimentary coffee and paper in the room. I thought complimentary meant free. I guess not. I was then told that I agreed to it upon my booking of the trip, which I did not. Finally, I was told that these charges were explained to me upon check in and I signed a paper agreeing to them. Upon check in I was only explained the no smoking policy and the room damage charge. I signed a sheet agreeing to that. Little did I know that these charges were hidden on this sheet. They were never explained to me nor did I agree to them! This is a sneaky way for the resort to raise your room rate! By the time you see it your leaving or gone and it's to late. The hotel will do nothing to correct this situation. This has tainted my opinion of the hotel.

Parking Question

If there is no parking garage..."No, but the resort offers valet parking and guests have full access to the MGM Grand's seven-story parking garage."
Are guests' cars parked on the hot Vegas sun? Is there an underground parking garage where Valet takes the cars or are they driven to the MGM?
Thank you.
Let the valet take car of your vehicle. They are excellent and well worth the tip. They park them in an underground garage.
